Stuck on what to get your other half on the most romantic day of the year? Or maybe you’re sick of receiving a bunch of flowers on Valentine’s Day? Well, maybe it’s time to get hinting, especially if you’re a fan of Reese’s chocolate.
Overstock and Walmart are selling ‘Reese’s Extravaganza’ bouquet’s which is essentially an arrangement of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and some matching orange faux flowers.
According to Insider, this is double the price of buying 36 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups but it’s also effort central to buy them individually and somehow arrange them like a bouquet.
There are other bouquets available from both retailers including Ferrero Rocher, Hershey, Lindt and M&M’s and with the majority costing less than £50 you don’t have to break the bank.
If chocolate isn’t your girlfriend/boyfriend’s thing what about sausage? Get your mind out of the gutter – I mean theMarks & Spencer ‘Love Sausage’.
And presumably you can enjoy the sausage without the rose petals, or tea lights… or even without having a partner whatsoever actually.
Alternatively, you could book a table at your local Wetherspoon as the pub chain has released its romance-filled Valentine’s Day menu.
For just £20 the you can geta selection of mains– including steak – two drinks, and two desserts.
And if you needed any more incentive to take them up on the deal, on its own the steak usually costs around £10 but for Valentine’s Day it’s £20 for two – and that’s withdesserts and drinks, too. Winner winner.
Oh and for an extra fiver you can also grab yourself a bottle of Prosecco to share.
With100,000 men expected to propose on Valentine’s Dayin the UK alone – which is around five per cent of all men, to be exact – 2019 might be your year.
