A prankster has painted over a street sign for Camilla Terrace, changing it to read Camel Toe.

Now, of course, vandalism isn’t big or clever, but at least this one waspretty creative.

By painting over a few of the letters and slightly altering two others, the street was given a brand-newrude name.

Residents of the Plymouth street, which is usually written as CamillaTceon the sign, were left scratching their heads when they spotted the vandals handiwork and I’m sure the postman had a bit of an odd morning.

Not everyone seemed shocked by the street name makeover, though, one resident said: “I am only surprised that it hadn’t been done sooner.” Fair enough.

But the vandals needn’t have bothered going through all the effort of painting the sign if they fancied having a giggle at a rude-sounding name, because the UK is full of them.

So much so, a couple of brothers decided to embark on a 2,000-mile dirty-place-name tour of Britain. A very worthwhile way to spend their time, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Andy and Magnus Tait, fromScotland, spent six long years planning their route, which saw them visiting places such asCumwhinton, Fanny Street,Upperthong, Butthole Lane, Willey, Titty Ho andSandyballs.

They made sure to stop off at Bellenden Gardens,Poundbottom, Cockermouth,Penistone, Butthole Bell End, The Knob, Lower Swell, Old Sodbury,Butcombeand Shaftesbury along the way.

And also popped intoShitterton,Lickfold,Fingringhoe,SlutsholeLane,Feltwell, Fanny Hands Lane, Scunthorpe, Rimswell andWetwang.

Fanny Hands Lane, though – who makes up these names?

The trip took the brother four days and they stopped for selfies at every sign. As well as getting a laugh out of it, the brothers say it was a nice way to see the country.

Their well-thought-outroute meant that they didn’t spend more than an hour-and-a-half between destinations.

“We went right down the west coast, along the south coast and up the east coast of England,” Andy said.

“We have got a childish and immature sense ofhumour. This is something we can tick off our bucket list.”

Looks as though they might need to pay a visit to Camel Toe now.
