Taking over the St Pancras Old Church comes Local Sounds, an evening of new musical talent, perfect for culture vultures who’d like to boast they’ve really heard of these guys first. It’s all part of Fever’s platform to support the most exciting new artists in town.
On Thursday, June 27, this exciting event will host a series of up-and-coming musicians for a chilled-out evening of emerging talent. Alongside some serious entertainment, you’ll also get a free drink (wine, beer, or a soft drink). Tickets are on sale now, and here’s who you’ll be seeing:
Mix the poetic lyrics of Bob Marley with the warm melodies of The Staves, and you’ll have something approaching Mica Jane. Blending indie, folk, and reggae, Mica and her talented band create catchy, witty songs that’ll have you feeling upbeat in no time.
Making a triumphant return to Local Sounds after an excellent debut earlier this year, Wednesday’s Wolves are a band on the rise. Having supported the likes of Wildwood Kin and Amber Run, and with their single ‘Off This Earth’ having featured on BBC Radio 1, this indie-folk duo is primed for a massive year.
A dominant force on Spotify, singer-songwriter Alex Cambridge has also had tracks featured on BBC Radio 1 Xtra and BBC Radio London. She’ll bring soulful, captivating songs – infused with a little bit of R’n’B – to Local Sounds, and you won’t want to miss her.
It all takes place in the stunning surrounds of St Pancras Old Church (), where the sound of music will fill the gorgeous, atmospheric venue. The historic church lends itself perfectly to music – so get yourself down to Local Sounds to discover your new favourite artist!
