JEREMY Corbyn has been slammed for failing to show at Festival of Remembrance to honour Brit hero soldiers.
The Labour leader’s absence sparked outrage among members of the public – who blast the move as “a spectacular own goal” by the party.

Shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry was at the event but no shows by Corbyn and his right hand man John McDonnell left many furious.
Joanne Henry tweeted: “What a disgrace, Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell couldn’t be bothered turning up to remember our fallen heroes.
“Just remember that people, when you go in to vote on 12th December.
“No there’s no excuse, except they hate their own country. As if we didn’t know.”
Rod Peach wrote: “Corbyn… What a total disgrace. I’m so angry.
“The royal family, Boris Johnson and other dignitaries all at the Royal Albert Hall for the Royal British Legion remembrance festival.
“Corbyn shouldn’t be allowed to lead the Labour party. Sack him now.”
John Mac blasted: “From a Labour point of view – Corbyn’s non-appearance is a spectacular own goal and will only serve to re-enforce the perception the country have had of him since he became leader.
“What on earth were they thinking.”

Corbyn was in Yorkshire for the day visiting those affected by the floods.
Richard Brown said: “The main point of the election, is Jeremy Corbyn did not attend the remembrance service.
“Scumbag hates our armed forces. A disgrace to the UK.”
And John Knight tweeted: “Watching the remembrance service from the Albert Hall. Can see Boris but can’t see Corbyn.
“Did he not go? Not an attitude from a man who wants to be PM.”
A reason for his absence has not yet been given by Corbyn but he spent the day over 170 miles from the venue, visiting residents and emergency workers in Doncaster, Yorkshire, affected by major flooding.
The Labour leader tweeted this evening: “Today I met firefighters in Doncaster who have worked tirelessly to save lives and protect communities from flooding.
“But they are struggling to cope as 25% of firefighters have been cut in South Yorkshire since 2010. We’ll give our Fire and Rescue Service the funding it needs.”
The Royal Family, including Kate and William and Harry and Meghan, attended the service at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday night.
It comes just days after a Labour frontbencher was blasted for claiming a Remembrance Sunday poppy wreath on expenses.
Marsha De Cordova, shadow minister for work and pensions, claimed £17 back from taxpayers for the floral tribute.
