The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted shopping in Sainsbury’s with “very well behaved” Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Royal fan Kate Carter noticed Kate and her royal trio browsing the clothing section of the King’s Lynn supermarket, which isn’t far from the family’s countryside home Anmer Hall.
Charlotte was wearing the green coat she wore to attend church on Christmas morning, while proud mum was carrying her youngest Louis.
Kate, founder of Ugly Ducking Creations, told Hello magazine : “She was with the children, and she looked lovely. She is absolutely beautiful, and the children were beautiful. They were so well behaved.
“I noticed Charlotte first as she had the beautiful green jacket on that she wore at Christmas. Then I saw Kate, who had Louis in her arms and I thought ‘Am I the only one seeing this?’ I couldn’t believe it was happening.”
Kate says that the little princess seemed to have her eye on a few of the dresses on sale.
She said: “She was just having a little bit of a walk around. They were looking at the clothes when I saw them. Charlotte was looking at the dresses, she was dead cute.”
This isn’t Kate’s first royal claim to fame, and over Christmas one of her hand-made dolls was given to Charlotte on Christmas morning.
Photos of the little princess holding the doll were shared around the world and she was inundated by requests for them.
It’s not the first time Kate has been seen at the store, and she nipped in to look at Halloween costumes for the kids last year.
The Duchess used the self-service counter back in October while her security officer lingered close by.
Wearing a black ensemble, Kate even asked some children what they were going to dress up as for Halloween while shopping at Sainsbury’s in the Hardwick Industrial Estate, Norfolk.
Mum-of-four Kathy Whittaker, 53, was shocked to see Kate browsing the Halloween outfits.
Kathy explained: “Another shopper said that Kate was in the shop near the clothing and pointed where she was to me. I just couldn’t believe it.
“She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures.
“I managed to get the photo as she was at the self service check out.
“I didn’t see what she actually bought. The lady that told me she was there had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween.
“I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids but I don’t know what.”
