Interactive Neon Mural #9 by Spidertag in Söderhamn, Sweden

After 9 months of silence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Spidertag is finally back on the streets of Sweden to participate in a street art festival called “Take Tomorrow Back”. In order to celebrate the city’s 400th anniversary, the Madrid based street artist wrapped up a brand new neon light creation on the streets of Söderhamn.

Entitled “Interactive Neon Mural #9”, this nocturnal piece measuring 25 × 7 meters (82 × 22.9 feet) exhibits playful shapes and gives off vivid colorful light after dark. Regarding the new mural, Spidertag says the following:

“I was honored to be part of creating my Interactive Neon Mural #9 for a street art festival called Take Tomorrow Back. It is the first of the year due to the crisis of COVID-19. So I was very excited after a long 9 months of depression caused by the global virus situation. I used all my energy and all the colors of the neon to try to give some hope in these obscure times.”

If you are in the area, you can see “Interactive Neon Mural #9” at Norra, Hamngatan 41, Söderhamn, Suecia. Images by @spidertag.
