Andres Iniesta Just Scored The Sexiest Goal You'll See All Season

Stop it, Andres – you’re supposed to be easing your way into retirement, not producing absolute fire for Japanese club Vissel Kobe.

The former Barcelona midfielder just scored the most magnificent goal against Jubilo Iwata in the J-League fixture, rolling back the years with a scrumptious turn that left the defender flat on his arse.

Iniesta, remaining cool and calm as ever, rounded goalkeeper Naoki Hatta and opened the scoring with arguably one of his greatest goals.

You will not see a better goal this weekend. In fact, maybe you won’t see a better goal this season. Take a bow, Andres.

It comes just a couple of weeks after he produced a filthy, filthy touch during a game in the J-League. He brilliantly plucked the ball out of the air with his right foot, before caressing the ball with another delightful touch, eventually laying off his teammate.

Japan is known internationally for its cuisine and deep history…. but what about Andrés Iniesta impersonators?

ESPN reported that FC Tokyo brought in an impersonator of the former Barcelona and Spain star for last weekend’s clash with Vissel Kobe.

“Iniesta has made a quick trip back to Spain to pick up his family and bring them to Japan,” said Vissel Kobe business director Masayuki Mori, “He will be away for just a few days and will then return to action.”

The 34-year-old joined Vissel Kobe on a free transfer earlier this year, following a 16-year career at Camp Nou, but this might be one of the strangest things to happen in his career thus far.

Crazy.
