Logan Paul is, of course,no stranger to contention. If anything, it seems like he prefers to be best mates with it, as is often the way with anyone who wants to make it on the internet.
Not content withtasering dead ratsor firing up the beef with KSI, Paul’s latest project turns his attention to the weird and wonderful world of Flat Earthers, the group of people who maintain that the Earth is not round as we’re all led to believe, butactually flat.
He’s created a whole documentary dedicated to the topic, which will be dropping – presumably on YouTube – on 20 March.
Last week Paul tweeted to say the documentary would be released by the ‘end of the month’, referring to it as the ‘greatest thing’ he’s ever made.
“Conspiracy theories – we’ve all heard them,” Paul begins in the trailer forThe Flat Earth: To the Edge and Back.
“But even crazier? People that actually believe them.”
In the trailer, we see Paul getting out there to interview various people about the not-so-widely-held belief that the planet we call home isn’t spherical at all.
He also takes a trip to the 2018 Flat Earth International Conference in Denver, Colorado, where he gets to ask attendees where this belief comes from.
“Do you acknowledge that other planets are round?” Paul asks one dude.
“I don’t acknowledge that other planets are planets,” the man responds.
Another woman argues: “People like to think that it’s round because of the shape of your eye.”
What does that even mean?

But while Paul appearsscepticalfor the most part, as his investigation continues, he seems to become more and more won over – at one point someone evenhas topunch him the arm and tell him: “You’re NOT becoming a Flat Earther!”
Admitting later in the trailer that he doesn’t know what to believe anymore, he eventually admits to a room full of cheering people:“My name is Logan Paul and I think I am coming out of the Flat Earth closet.”
The Flat Earth: To the Edge and Backwill be released on 20 March.
