If you like crazy golf, but wish it was less crazy and more horny, then a new course in Derby, UK, has got your name written all over.

The aptly named, House of Holes, opened today and is for over 18s only – for obvious reasons. The venue is comprised of 18 holes, with each offering its own unique variety of obstacles. It’s basically like normal crazy golf, except instead of having to knock the ball past an innocent spinning windmill, you’ve got to knock it through the legs of a sex doll.

A description of the course on the House of Holes website reads: “House of Holes is Derby’s very first ‘Adult’ mini golf venue! Boasting 18 individually designed holes with themes ranging from retro bowling alleys to shop mannequins and the outright obscene, there’s no shortage of things to see!”

Can’t help but feel they missed the opportunity to use some kind of X-rated golf pun there, maybe merging golf course and intercourse somehow? … There’s got to be something there.

Anyway, if the promise of ‘the outright obscene’ isn’t enough to draw you in, then perhaps the prospect of food and bevs will. House of Holes serves up Jamaican street food and has two bars offering up beers and cocktails – though it’s unclear whether their interpretation of a ‘cocktail’ comes with an added twist.

The business, located in Babington Lane, is run by Simon Liu and Daniel Doctzan, who reused several items in the former ballroom and nightclub when refitting it as a raunchy golf course.

Mr Doctzan said the venue was strictly child-free in order to allow adults to embrace the ‘kid inside them’.

According to Derbyshire Live, he said: “It’s an 18-plus venue. We have quite a lot of explicit things around. But the point is that we want to let the adults relax and play golf. When you are playing crazy golf with children around, you can’t be the kid you are.

“Everyone has a kid inside them and they like to express that sometimes.”

It is hoped the venue will appeal to stag and hen dos, which seems like a reasonable expectation, given that 90 per cent of them seem to involve sex dolls and inflatable penises at some point or another.

A round of golf is priced at only £10 per head, so that should leave you with some cash for cocktails.
