Inter Milan's Potential Line-Up For Next Season Is Staggering

Inter Milan have not been a formidable force for some time now. There was a point when a certain Jose Mourinho was involved with the club, and that Inter where one of the best in the world, with total dominance over the Italian league.

But in recent years, it hasn’t been so rosy for the Milan club. Luckily, last season, the side earned a fourth spot finish in the Serie A, meaning their first Champions League spot in seven years.

Their top-scorer with 29 goals across all competitions was Mauro Icardi, a player who was somehow left out of the Argentina squad for the World Cup.

A player who did shine at the World Cup is Ivan Perisic, with Inter so far being able to hold off interest for the Croatian from top clubs.

Now, with recent reports linking several top players to Inter, their potential starting line-up looks incredible.

Reports from Italian publication CalcioMercato suggest that Luka Modric is subject to interest from Inter, where he could link up with Perisic.

Real Madrid have undergone a huge makeover this summer, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane both departing the club. They are both, arguably, Real’s biggest assets and they have now left. This could have a knock-on effect and see other players, such as Modric, make a dash for the exits, too.

That remains to be seen, however.

Where do you think Modric will end up next season? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
