Loose Woman panellist Stacey Solomon posts many crafty hacks and nifty storage solutions to her 3.5 million followers on Instagram.

The 30 year old rivals only her best friend cleaning star Mrs Hinch when it comes to great ways to make your house look lovely, and her new idea is no exception.

On Tuesday afternoon the star took to her Instagram Stories to showcase her new DIY laundry system, and it looked amazing.

Taking three plain white plastic bins, the star then spray painted them a bubble gum pink which was very satisfying to watch. She captioned the footage: “creating a new washing system as our current set up isn’t working.”

To stop the spray paint from going everywhere, Stacey did the painting outside on her lawn with the three bins laid out on a blanket. This meant that even though the blanket got covered in pink she could still just throw it in the wash afterwards.

She also wrote: “why do i get a wierd (sic) thrill out of colouring it in?” alongside a laughing face emoji.

The girlfriend of Joe Swash then added labels to the bin lids, although we could see her doing all of this because, as she explained, she ”couldn’t film the labels my hand kept falling through the bin” along with another laughing face emoji.

The labels are made by Stacey older sister Jemma who has an Instagram business called ‘The Label Lady’ where she makes all different custom-made vinyl labels.

Using her famed ’Tap to tidy’ method, in which she posts before and after pictures of mess, Stacey then showcased the finished product.

The three bins were all immaculately painted pink, and each one had a label; ‘Lights’, ‘Darks’ and ‘Whites’.

Lined up against the wall, they looked amazing and it does seem a fantastic way to have laundry pre-sorted before a wash and as Stacey captioned: “Now no one can say they don’t know what goes where…” alongside a sly smile emoji.

However, the mum of three did share one tip based on what she had learnt during the process.

She wrote: “Be careful if you’re spray painting and then labelling… I didn’t wait long enough for the paint to properly dry so I cannot peel my middle sticker off without taking the paint with it.

“I’m just leaving it on for now,” alongside a string of emojis.
