The Salford-born star has lit up our screens as one of the main antagonists, with storylines involving drugs, murder and many a feud, but in reality her home life is far more relaxed.
Kate lives in a lavish house in the affluent area of Dulwich, south London with her 12-year-old son Otis, whom she had with her TV producer ex-husband Jon Connerty.

However, Kate isn’t actually the only famous Kate to live on her street, for down the road is TV presenter Kate Thornton.
She once told The Mirror: “We live on the same street in London and our boys are really good friends. We’re so close, and in and out of each other’s houses all the time.”
And one look at the soap star’s house and it is easy to see why people may want to visit often.
From its large kitchen, sprawling velvet sofas and chic dining room it looks like there would have been worse places to spend the lockdown.
Let’s take a look inside…
Kate Ford’s bedroom
Kate’s bedroom is soft and vibrant, with cream and silver striped patterned wallpaper and wooden floors.
Above the bed is a painting of a bright green hummingbird and lime green bulbous vases flank the bed.
There is a mirrored cupboard, perfect for taking a selfie, and a silver chest of drawers.
In this snap we can see more clearly that the bed is covered in a silver velour throw, as well as a cat and a whole bunch of Christmas presents. There is also another cabinet covered in candles and trinkets.
Kate Ford’s living room
Kate’s large sofa is covered in silver crushed velvet, and looks so comfy. In the background we can see she has glass patio doors leading out in to a garden, which is huge by London standards.
There is also a play house, complete with its own balcony, which no doubt Otis gets a lot of use out of when his friends come to visit.
In this snap of a gaming party Kate threw for Otis we can see just how large the living room is with lovely wooden floor and a whole wall of windows.
Kate Ford’s kitchen/dining area
As we can see from this picture Kate’s living room backs on to her kitchen and dining area, which is large and open plan with wooden cupboards and dishwasher front.
The star has a large kitchen dining table with white chairs, perfect for eating breakfast as a family.
Kate Ford’s dining room
The soap legend also has this separate dining room complete with abstract art adorning the grey walls and a gold-painted wooden mirror.
This table is much sleeker in appearance, and surrounding the walls are many arty books.
It looks to be the perfect spot for a dinner party, as we can see here.. and that food looks absolutely delicious too!
