Overall Liverpool Player Ratings Reveal Who's Been The Most Consistent So Far

Jürgen Klopp has proven that Liverpool are hungry to take the Premier League crown away from Manchester City this season.

Before the start of the international break, the Reds are in third place and have the same number of points as second-placed Chelsea and first-placed City.

The 51-year-old manager reinforced his squad well over the summer to be in the current position that he’s in, but who has been Liverpool’s most important player on the pitch?

TheLiverpool Echohas crunched the numbers by looking into the individual ratings awarded to each player and worked out what their overall averages would be so far.

Oh, and they’ve had to have had five appearances at minimum for this to work.

Without further ado, here’s the complete list:

  • Jordan Henderson: 6.28
  • Naby Keïta: 6.4
  • Trent Alexander-Arnold: 6.44
  • Mohamed Salah: 6.6
  • Roberto Firmino: 6.64
  • Sadio Mané: 6.73
  • Andrew Robertson: 6.8
  • Alisson Becker: 6.8
  • James Milner: 7.0
  • Georginio Wijnaldum: 7.2
  • Virgil van Dijk: 7.2
  • Joe Gomez: 7.5

That’s right, it looks like Liverpool’s backline has really stepped up in comparison to last season.

Sure, Klopp will want his deadly attacking trio to keep firing on all cylinders — like Salah’sfantastic strike for Egypt today— but Alisson’s high ranking on that list explains why the Reds broke the then-transfer record for a ‘keeper.

Where will Liverpool finish in the Premier League this season?

Let us know in the comments.
