Dancing on Ice contestant and former Westlife star Brian McFadden has suffered a shoulder infury during rehearsals – potentially ruling him out from dancing on Sunday’s (January 13) show.
ITV have told Digital Spy that Brian has partially dislocated his shoulder and damaged his rotator cuff and cannot rehearse for the time being.

The programme makers will assess on Sunday if Brian is well enough to dance.

Brian has been sharing videos on Instagram of him training hard throughout the week, so it will be devastating if he’s unable to dance on Sunday.

Brian could be seen pulling some impressive moves on Friday (January 11). He captioned the above video: “Practice practice practice, two days to go!”
Here’s hoping that Brian makes a speedy recovery.

In other Dancing on Ice news, Brian’s professional dancing partner Alex Murphy has praised Gemma Collins for her tenacity after her debut performance last week.

“I am so proud of Gemma,” Alex said. “She is really a great person and she did such a good job on Sunday. She fell in the dress rehearsal. She fell and fell and fell. But she kept herself going. She got up and got on with it.
“And all of those who say she can’t do it, or that her weight was a disadvantage – all those awful remarks – Gemma still did it.”
Dancing on Ice continues Sunday (January 13) at 6pm on ITV.
