They hit her when she was already down.
And Nicki Minaj was not pleased to see BET tweet congratulatory messages about her enemy Cardi B while using Minaj’s lyrics from MotorSport on Sunday evening.
The 36-year-old rapper was so upset with the content that she decided to scrap ‘Young Money’ appearances at the network’s summer festival and awards show in Los Angeles, but it’s still unclear if that includes a wide array of artists on the label including Experience headliner Lil Wayne.

Not great: Nicki Minaj was not pleased to see BET tweet congratulatory messages about her enemy Cardi B while using Minaj’s lyrics from MotorSport on Sunday evening

‘Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show,’ she wrote at 11 a.m. ‘Summer Tour dates dropping soon.’
The night before, BET tweeted ‘Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront’ with an article congratulating Cardi B on her historic win as the first female to receive Best Rap Album at the Grammys on Sunday night.

A Minaj superfan quickly wrote, ‘Nicki Minaj didn’t revive a whole genre, write her own raps for over a decade, & bring y’all ghetto a** award shows viewers for y’all to disrespect and bully her like this. F*** y’all @BET.’
She also shared commentary from another user saying, ‘BET (BLACK ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION) decided to drag a BLACK WOMAN while congratulating a Latina woman.’

The Anaconda songstress then went on to share a host of messages in support of Minaj, telling the network to delete the post and apologize for their words.
She later wrote a lengthy post thanking her fans for all of their support through the difficult time.
‘I can’t thank you guys enough for all the love & support you continue to show me,’ she said on Twitter. ‘To everyone who said something sweet, thank you. Whether I read it or not, I felt it. From the bottom of my heart. I love you so much. So so so soooo much. Stay tuned.’
BET’s choice words only added fuel to the fire in the rivalry between Nicki and Cardi, which reportedly reached its physical limit at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party in New York in September.

The pair were involved in an altercation at the Plaza Hotel when Minaj reportedly questioned Cardi’s parenting skills.
She skipped the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony after her album Queen failed to receive any nominations.
But Nicki didn’t miss out on all the fun as she attended the Church On Sunday’s after-party on Sunday night at The Argyle night club in Hollywood.
Cutting a glamorous figure, the Super Bass hitmaker sported a bright and bold ensemble to attend the party.

Underneath her fabulous fur was a colorful body con Chanel top with a matching rainbow skirt hugging her incredible curves.
Adding a touch of sparkle, the musician wore a large ring that intricately wrapped around her finger, and in homage to her latest album, the beauty wore a diamond encrusted medallion around her neck that read ‘queen’.
The singer, who is yet to have scooped up a Grammy Award despite being nominated for ten between 2011 and 2016, ensured her make up was flawless as she showed off perfectly winged eyeliner and pink lips.

Her fourth studio album Queen was overlooked, even though it was released during the eligibility period between October 1 2017 and September 30.
Her rival Cardi B bagged five nominations.
The curvy star matched her nails to her lips as she painted her long talons in a matching shade of bubblegum pink.

Nicki’s night on the tiles comes as she decided to not attended one of the most highly-anticipated music award ceremonies.
A hoard of A-list celebrities took to the red carpet to celebrate, however a selection of music makers decided to ditch the awards show.
Kendrick Lamar, 31, was nominated for album of the year for his work on the Black Panther movie soundtrack, but sat the ceremony out alongside Kanye West, 41, who was up for producer of the year.
Kanye hasn’t attended the Grammys since 2015.
He previously said: ‘Since when was making art about getting rich? … Remind me again why we in this sht? Remind me again why the Grammys [can] suck my dck?’
