Anne Hegerty admitted a very naughty fantasy on The Chase, and it was all to do with a young contestant.
The Governess, who was quizzing against a team in her usual evening role, admitted she had a bit of a soft spot for one of the contestants, and young entrepreneur named Rob.
After the young buck went for a high offer of £37,000, he performed well until right at the end, when he picked the wrong actress in a question about who is the namesake of a Unicef Humanitarian Award.
He was disappointed at his mistake, but the person who was most disappointed by his departure seemed to be Anne, who admitted her sadness as he walked off the show.
Anne looked happy when he was on the podium
He tried to focus on the game rather than his admirer
She said to Bradley Walsh: “He was very good – and cute.”
Bradley was shocked at her comments, and asked her to repeat them, which left her very redfaced.
She said: “I said he was cute…”
The audience cackled as she was left clearly feeling a little bit embarrassed by her admission, as Bradley ordered her: “Get a grip, woman!”
Sad Anne quickly quipped: “I can’t, he’s gone!”
Bradley could tell he was lighting her fire
Bradley looked both stern and shocked by her comment, as the audience laughed at her quick wit.
Things later became even more surprising when sadly, even the sexy young man couldn’t take her off her stride, and in the end she beat all four contestants, leaving Claire returning to try and win £1,000 for each of the contestants.
She sadly was unable to do so, and the Chaser took them all down once again.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
