Coronation Street horrifies viewers as tragedy strikes the Underworld factory employees – DigitalSpy.com

Coronation Street’s double-header blew the roof off social media tonight (March 18) as Underworld’s employees were buried in rubble.
These awful scenes were preceded by the staff’s protest against Carla Connor, who’d previously attempted to cheat everyone out of their jobs.
Sally, Gina and co barricaded themselves in the factory (with Kirk providing the snacks, of course), but as the demonstration expanded onto the scaffolding outside the building, the show delivered a devastating crescendo.

Warring sisters Sally and Gina were found having a row while trying to put up the protest banners, but as the words grew harsher, the roof’s sturdiness grew weaker.
Sally’s life was then left hanging in the balance as she fell through the roof and was covered in rubble – along with the rest of the protesters. Gina could only look on, devastated.
And Corrie fans were stunned following this shocking climax.
Will Sally pull through?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
