Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley responds to reports she’ll “never” return – DigitalSpy.com

16 May 2019 ENTERTAINMENT

Former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley has responded to reports suggesting that she would “never” return to the show.
Tabloid reports had claimed that Tyldesley, who played Eva Price between 2011 and 2018, was unhappy with working 12 hours every day. However, the actress strongly denied this in a new Twitter post, pointing out that she’s said multiple times that she’d be open to returning to the cobbles in the future.
“Utter rubbish – I didn’t say that – I’ve always spoken of Corrie fondly and said I’d love to go back?!?!” she wrote, addressing the claims.

After her final scenes aired in August, Tyldesley said that she “loved every minute” of being on the show.
And back in April, before her exit, she said that she would “love to see Eva wreak a bit more havoc further down the line”.

Tyldesley recently began work on her next TV project Scarborough, and was spotted filming with Jason Manford.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
