More royal celebrations are on the way after the recent excitement of a new royal baby and the 2018 nuptials of both Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie.
Lady Gabriella Windsor will tie the knot to financier Thomas Kingston on Saturday in the same venue as the past two royal weddings: St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
The 38-year-old freelance writer is the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and is 52nd in line to the succession of the British throne.

Her engagement to Bristol University graduate Mr Kingston was announced by Buckingham Palace in September 2018 after becoming engaged on the Isle of Sark.
This time last year, the nation was gearing up for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, on 19 May.

In the autumn, the Queen’s other grandchild, Princess Eugenie, tied the knot with her long-term partner Jack Brooksbank in the 14th century chapel.

The wedding will be attended by members of the Royal Family and the ceremony will not be televised, with the occasion being celebrated among family and friends. The Queen will be the guest of honour as a first cousin once removed of the bride.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that the Queen’s attendance will “add an undoubted cachet to the event”.
He added: “This is the third royal wedding in St George’s Chapel in a year and there has been more interest than usual because of the venue and general interest in the younger royals.

“While Harry and Meghan’s wedding was a glorious global event, Princess Eugenie’s to Jack Brooksbank was stylish and sparked much interest.
“It will be interesting to see who attends with Kate expected but William appears unlikely to be able to attend both the wedding and the FA Cup final which is a pity.”

Other royal guests will include Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Lady Gabriella’s brother Lord Frederick Windsor and his actress wife Sophie Winkleman, along with their daughters Isabelle and Maud.
It has not been confirmed if Harry and Meghan will attend the ceremony, though the new parents to baby Archie live nearby in Windsor’s Frogmore Cottage.

The Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Conner, will conduct the ceremony.
In the same fashion as Harry and Meghan, the newlyweds will host their afternoon reception at Frogmore House.
The venue has a “personal resonance” for the couple since Lady Gabriella’s grandparents, the late Duke and Duchess of Kent, are buried at Frogmore.

However unlike the past two royal weddings, there will be no reception hosted by the Queen inside Windsor Castle.
Like the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Eugenie, Lady Gabriella, who is also a director of Branding Latin America, is understood to have chosen a British designer to make her wedding dress.

Her husband-to-be has held several high-powered jobs in finance, and in 2003, he moved to Baghdad where he worked to procure the release of hostages.
He has reportedly dated Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton and attended her wedding to James Matthews with Lady Gabriella in 2017. The couple are also expected to attend Saturday’s wedding.
