Phoebe Waller-Bridge, co-writer of Bond 25, addressed the rumors regarding Lashana Lynch being the successor to James Bond actor Daniel Craig’s 007.
Waller-Bridge, who co-wrote the Bond 25script with director Cary Joji Fukunaga and Scott Z. Burns, was asked by THR about the Lashana Lynch rumor. She played coy with her answer, keeping more of the film’s details under wraps:
“The whole thing has potential to birth new iconic characters all the time.”
Waller-Bridge was also asked about her involvement with the script and how much of her voice would be heard throughout Daniel Craig’s latest outing as James Bond. She emphasized how Fukunaga remains the primary voice behind the highly-anticipated project:
“A lot has been made of me coming on board because I’m a woman, and that’s wonderful. But also I can’t take credit for the movie that was written. It’s Cary’s movie.
Recently, it was reported that Lashana Lynch would be taking over as the new 007 from Daniel Craig inBond 25. Many misread the story as Lashana Lynch taking over as the new James Bond altogether when in reality, it teases that the actress playing a new spy that has since taken the 007 codename.
Whether or not Lashana Lynch is officially the new 007 successor to Daniel Craig in the upcomingBond 25 remains unconfirmed.

Filming is currently underway at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. Additional filming locations include London, Jamaica, Italy, and Norway.
The cast of James Bond 25 includes Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, as well as franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.

DC Universe Debuts ‘Doom Patrol’ Character Posters
Along with the premiere of the first teaser for Doom Patrol, DC Universe also debuted a collection of character posters for each of the members of perhaps the strangest team of characters to be adapted in live-action form for DC Comics.
In particular, these new character posters highlight Timothy Dalton’s The Chief, Diane Guerrero’s Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade’s Cyborg, April Bowlby’s Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer’s Negative Man and Brendan Fraser’s Robotman. These posters each follow unique designs that reflect the nature of each character and tease unique personalities amongst the group as well.
