Emmerdalehas revealed a first look at Robert Sugden facing court next week.

Robert has a huge decision to make as he attends his plea hearingafter the shock death of rapist Lee Posner.

The fan favourite was previously facing charges of GBH with intent for attacking evil Lee, but this has been upgraded to murder now that Lee has passed away in hospital.

Robert has been advised to stay consistent by pleading guilty, but viewers will have to tune in next week to see whether he follows this guidance or not.

Emmerdaleviewers also know that Robert’s husband Aaron Dingleis hatching a desperate planto break him out of prison. Will it work, or is Aaron’s intervention heading for disaster?

The latest twists and turns for Robron come as part of a huge week ofEmmerdaleepisodes.

Next week sees Cain Dingle seek revenge against his wife Moira and farmhand Nate Robinson after uncovering their affair, leading toa huge boat explosion.

Chas Dinglewill also go into labourwhile trapped in The Woolpack’s toilets with her cousin Marlon.

Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, will be leaving the show in upcoming episodes.He recently said:“I will miss the show massively, it has been a huge part of my life for the last few years. I love working here, I love the people that I work with and it’s going to be very emotional leaving.”

Danny Miller, who plays Aaron,added:“There’s real raw emotion there for Ryan and myself. During one of the emotional scenes, it hit me that it’s real and it’s actually happening and there are some genuine tears in there.

“We’ve been very close for four years and it’s not going to be the same without him, but the show goes on to so to speak, and it’ll be interesting to see what happens with Ryan – and Aaron in the show too.”

Emmerdaleairs these scenes on Thursday, October 24 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
