Why Real Madrid Players Are Unhappy With Club Captain Sergio Ramos

It appears some Real Madrid players are unhappy with club captain Sergio Ramos.

In the past few weeks, Real Madrid’s World Cup stars have slowly returned to the club.

Spanish contingent Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vasquez and Nacho came back on July 25th following their Russian venture.

While Dani Carvajal reunited with his teammates on July 29th.

Unlike Ramos who joined on August 1st.

Real Madrid granted Ramos a longer summer break following his excursions for his club during the season and World Cup campaign.

It’s the second year in a row he’s been given an extended break.

And Ramos’ preferential treatment is reportedly not going down well with his fellow colleagues per Spanish outletMarca.

The report claims: “His importance at Real Madrid is undeniable and he commands total respect in the dressing room, but not all are comfortable with the situation.”

Anyway, Ramos is with Real Madrid now, ahead of facing Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup, next Wednesday.

While the Premier League resumes next week, La Liga officially begins in two weeks with Real Madrid hosting Getafe.

How will Real Madrid minus Cristiano Ronaldo fare in the new season?
