So, Square Enix finally decided to stop making HD-2D RPGs with crap names and just name its latest one Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy Resonance is the iconic series’ first HD-2D instalment, and it looks pretty promising.
It’s an original story (with crystals, obviously) set in an original world, but you’ll be able to summon the power of past Final Fantasy characters to aid you in command-based combat.
Resonance is coming to PS5 on the 22nd October. Yes, it’s yet another PS5 game arriving in the autumn / fall, adding to the already insane pile.
