What do Blue Ivy Carter, Stevie Nicks, and the Heated Rivalry lads all have in common? Last night, they all hit the Met Gala red carpet for the very first time.

Last night, more than 30 celebrities attended the 2026 Met Gala as first-timers. Many of them have helped define culture over the past year, from Chase Infiniti, who broke through with her role as Willa in One Battle After Another to Bhavitha Mandava, who has become the poster child of Matthieu Blazy’s new take on Chanel.

But there were also some surprising newbies, too. Somehow it was both Dwayne Johnson and Blackpink’s Jisoo first time on the Met Gala red carpet. And believe it or not, legend Stevie Nicks made the most of her Met coming out, performing alongside Sabrina Carpenter in the Temple of Dendur.

It didn’t matter that they’d never been to the Met before; each first-timer earned high marks on the fashion front. The co-chairs’ kids stole the spotlight from their own superstar parents: Blue Ivy Carter graced the carpet in a voluminous white Balenciaga dress while Sunday Rose Kidman Urban skipped school to don a floral Dior number.

Below, scroll through to see who made the 2026 Met Gala their first, from models to actors—and even some KPop Demon Hunters.
