An entertainment journalist shared a photo of the littered theater after the event, writing beside it: “Clean up on aisle ALL.”

In the photo, the upper tier of the theater was covered in rubbish.

Crumbs of food, popcorn, food boxes, bottles of water, and other items were strewn across the floor and seats.

Reacting to the photo, one person said: “Rich people leaving their dirt for poor people as always.”

“How hard is it to not leave your garbage on the floor?” asked a second.

“Learning that no matter how much money someone has, humans are still humans,” said a third.

“This is disgusting,” added a fourth.

While a fifth penned, “The clean up crew deserves an Oscar.”

And a sixth wrote, “Is there no trash can???”

But others pointed out how the photo was of the upper tiers, which is usually used to seat the family, friends and invited guests.

One person penned, “Not defending this by any means but isn’t this a photo of one of the upper tiers where family, friends and invited guests sit? Not the actual nominees?”

Another added, “This isn’t where the celebrities and stars sit correct? This is the family, general audiences, general academy member seating area correct?”

And a third penned, “I don’t care who was sitting in those seats, CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!!!!!! you do at home, why not in public too???????”

This comes after Hollywood’s biggest night saw a whole host of well-deserving winners scoop up gongs at the iconic ceremony on Sunday night.
