LeadingRE expands to 500 plus firms after 20 new members

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE) added 20 new member brokerages in the first half of 2026, expanding its independently owned network across six continents as local firms look to compete in a more global and more selective market.

The firms span North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, according to the company’s announcement on Thursday.

Member firms gain access to a global referral platform, shared marketing, technology and training resources while retaining ownership, operational control and local branding. For real estate broker-owners, the model is positioned as a way to plug into cross-border demand and relocation flows without giving up independence or taking on franchise fees.

“In changing market cycles local expertise is paramount, and these companies are all deeply embedded in their communities, combining expert insight with longstanding trusted relationships,” Kate Reisinger, the chief operating officer of LeadingRE, said in the announcement. “In a period of global change and opportunity, consumers continue to gravitate towards businesses they trust.”

Chris Dietz, president of global operations at LeadingRE, said the expansion increases cross-border business among members.

“What makes our network so powerful is the ability of our members to operate as local experts while benefiting from a global ecosystem,” Dietz said.

LeadingRE now represents more than 500 firms with approximately 129,000 real estate professionals in over 70 countries worldwide, according to the announcement. For brokerages, network affiliation can be a recruitment and retention tool for top agents who are competing more frequently for global and relocation clients, as well as international investors.
