Rosalía Has Her Own Carrie Bradshaw Moment

From a smoke gray latex slip to tutus and a pearly blue Dior pannier, Rosalía lives for a statement dress. It’s no surprise, then, that the Spanish star finds kinship in the off-beat and feminine style school of one Carrie Bradshaw.

Rosalía was spotted out and about in Mexico City wearing a dress reminiscent of Sarah Jessica Parker as Bradshaw in the iconic Dior by John Galliano newspaper print. The sleeveless and flare skirt midi dress is by Barcelona brand Desigual (who also finds a fan in Y2K revival queen Zara Larsson with a recent collaboration) and features a similar all-over newspaper print. She styled it with angular black sunglasses and ruched black ballet flats.

Her wavy hair was swept up in an elegant bun, with her now-signature blonde halo highlights visible at the crown.

Onstage, Rosalía looks to the ethereal costumery of Jonathan Anderson’s Dior. The designer created several bespoke looks for the musician as she returned for the next part of the global LUX tour, including a leaf adorned tutu skirt, blue pannier gown, and Galliano-like tricorne hat. In the day to day, you’ll likely find her in vintage, or more youthful, rebellious labels and emerging designers like Monique Fei, Yasmin, and Colleen Allen.
