San Antonio Spurs legend Manu Ginobili, who won four NBA titles during his illustrious career, offered a message to the New York Knicks after watching his longtime team go down in five games in the NBA Finals.

“Congrats to the @nyknicks on winning the NBA Finals! Coach Mike Brown, Finals MVP Jalen Brunson (an absolute beast!), and a tough, experienced group of players right in their prime got the job done,” he said after the game.

Ginobili also offered a message to Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson, the players and fans as he expects the team to compete for years to come.

“And of course, congratulations to Mitch, coaching staff, players, and the entire Spurs organization on a wonderful season! So proud of what this team accomplished!” he added. “There’s so much to be excited about as @Spurs fans! Let’s celebrate this special group and keep building towards winning the next one and many more!”

San Antonio had its chances in the series, leading each of the five games by at least 12 points at certain times, but ultimately couldn’t close out games when it mattered the most.

Now the Spurs will have to turn the page to the 2026-27 season as its young core continues to grow.
