If you’re in a public place or at work or surrounded by people whose opinion you care about, maybe watch the Hope trailer where you can have a little freak-out?

The latest action-packed South Korean horror from The Medium and The Wailing director Na Hong-jin, Hope promises a blood-soaked nightmare in a small village plagued by a violent creature. The film’s name comes from its setting, Hope Harbour, a chill town that didn’t expect its quiet streets to be pulverised by a strange (and incredibly strong) beast. Police chief Bum-seok (Hwang Jung- min), officer Sung-ae (Hoyeon), hunter Sung- ki (Zo In-Sung) have quite the task on their hands, to wrangle this rampaging terror before it tears them to shreds.

From the looks of it this is no straightforward monster movie, with intergalactic elements sneaking in. But there’s plenty of action afoot, with the town fighting for their damn lives in this Neon trailer.

Taylor Russell, Cameron Britton, Alicia Vikander, and Michael Fassbender also star.

Hope hits cinemas Sept. 9.
