How to Watch Actor Awards 2026 and Live From E! Red Carpet

The Actor Awards—previously known as the SAG Awards before the Screen Actors Guild voted to change the name in November—will kick off Sunday, March 1, from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles to honor the year’s most profound performances across film and television. Making the annual ceremony stand out among the award season crowd is the fact that the nominees and winners are chosen exclusively by the actors themselves (and who doesn’t love being recognized by their peers?).
This year’s nominated performers include TV powerhouses like Noah Wyle, Kristen Wiig, Ted Danson, Jean Smart, Claire Danes, Keri Russell and Sterling K. Brown. But don’t count out the castmembers of critically acclaimed series like Adolescence, The White Lotus and The Studio. (See every star arriving on the red carpet here.)
Meanwhile, buzzy films like Sinners, One Battle After Another, Hamnet and Marty Supreme have great chances of racking up more award season hardware after taking home top honors at last month’s Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, with stars Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Jessie Buckley and more all earning individual acting noms for their spellbinding roles.
And while the telecast—which will once again be hosted by Kristen Bell—is still several hours away, one Hollywood legend is already a big-time winner.
As previously announced, Harrison Ford is set to be honored with the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award for his unparalleled 60-year career, as well as his humanitarian efforts off screen.

And Ford couldn’t be more grateful for the recognition, which has previously been bestowed on icons like Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Carol Burnett.
“I am deeply honored to be chosen as this year’s recipient of the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award,” the Star Wars actor shared in December. “To be acknowledged by my fellow actors means a great deal to me. I’ve spent most of my life on film sets, working alongside incredible actors and crews, and I’ve always felt grateful to be part of this community.”
