May 28 (UPI) — Married TV stars Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy have collaborated on the Georgia O’Keeffe documentary, The Brightness of Light.
Homeland alum Danes will voice the famed artist, while Hannibal actor Dancy narrates the story.
Directed by Paul Wagner, the film is now playing in select theaters and will be available digitally June 1 on Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Google Plus.
“This spellbinding film offers an in-depth, cinematic, and fresh portrait of the artist known as the ‘Mother of Modernism,'” a press release said.
“From her early struggles and artistic awakenings to her rise as a feminist icon and cultural force, The Brightness of Light is a journey through love, loss, and the radical independence that shaped O’Keeffe’s art and her legend.”
