Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Go on a Very Chic Safari

From Ibiza to Brazil, Paris, and the Amalfi Coast, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner sure know how to do vacation right—and dress the part, too. The British pop star’s usual vacation wardrobe consists of slinky dresses via Jacquemus, teeny crochet bikinis, and statement designer bags. Now out on safari in South Africa, Lipa is embracing la vacanza style on the plains.

“David Attenborough eat your heart out!!!!!” Lipa captioned her latest Instagram carousel drop. “I just had the most incredible trip of my life in South Africa. Being so close to such beautiful animals in their natural habitat, between Kruger Park and Sabi Sands, was something I can barely put into words. It was truly unforgettable…one of those experiences that stays with you forever.”

Across the IG dump, Lipa posed with fiancé Turner, as well as some elephants and zebra when out on the jeeps exploring the area. Outfits were safari appropriate, featuring earthy tones and sensible layers, but with the addition of some key designer pieces and Dua Lipa staples.

One outfit consisted of a lace-up and leather black 16Arlington top, frayed high-waisted Re/Done denim shorts, a Chrome Hearts Western belt, and angular Tom Ford sunglasses. With another, she paired the same shorts and sunnies with a Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori watch and Tubogas bracelet, as well as some trusty binoculars. Later one evening while safari-ing, she donned a camel-colored baseball cap and red Loewe v-neck sweater. The next daytime look paired her shorts and Bvlgari jewels with a Ralph Lauren Polo striped khaki shirt over a white Oxford shirt and tank.

Some looks leaned a little more fun and dressy: in one image of Lipa posing close to an elephant, she wore a military style Ann Demeulemeester jacket. (The millennial fave military jacket has been a hit in Lipa’s wardrobe.) Off safari, she wore a billowing white blouse with ruffled cuffs, a white quilted Chanel bag (as a house ambassador and face of the Chanel 25 bag campaign, of course her tote got in on the holiday too), and Blumarine goggle-like sunglasses.

It’s been rumored that Dua and Callum are set to have a relatively low-key wedding at some point this summer—imagine the honeymoon ’fits.
