Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro Is a Fatal Fury Character Right Now

You’re already dead

Back when Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro was showcased for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves without a trailer earlier in the month, I suspected he’d be a shadow drop.

And so here we are: he’s out right now if you want to give him a try.

Mangaka Tetsuo Hara confirmed the news in a special video message, which I’ve embedded within this page. You can also catch more of his gameplay courtesy of his release trailer above.

Here’s how Kenshiro is described in the press release:

“Post-apocalyptic savior with seven distinctive scars carved onto his chest. As sole successor to the ultimate assassination art, Hokuto Shinken, he treads a perilous path; indeed, a dangerous yearning for Hokuto Shinken by forces unknown is what calls him to the forsaken City of the Wolves in the first place. Though worlds collide and divide, Kenshiro’s crusade against evil never wavers. To the weak, lost, and broken, he extends a helping hand; to those who prey on them, he metes out merciless justice.”

As with all Fatal Fury characters, you’ll be able to experience Kenshiro’s story both in traditional Arcade Mode and the RPG-inspired Episodes of South Town.

In other news, as the Fist of the North Star collaboration concludes Season 2, industrious dev SNK has confirmed that Season 3 will be revealed in July, so that’s something to look forward to.
