Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mrs. Clark has distinguished herself as a co-founder of the 4 ShayJ Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in California in 2015 after the tragic loss of her son Shaun Clark Jr. from riding a skateboard without a helmet. For more than a decade, she has been dedicated to turning this tragedy into an opportunity to prevent other families from experiencing this kind of loss by using her efforts to advance the foundation’s mission of educating children about helmet safety and providing helmets to those in need. Mrs. Clark’s daily responsibilities include managing her calendar, coordinating meetings, hiring key personnel, and facilitating school assemblies and community events. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding the foundation’s reach and impact, earning recognition in national media outlets, such as USA Today, for its life-saving initiatives.

Before her work with the foundation, Mrs. Clark entered the skincare industry, where she has developed expertise in holistic anti-aging over a span of more than 15 years. She is the owner of Mama Clark Beauty, a boutique day spa she has operated for several years. The spa specializes in facials and massages, reflecting her commitment to wellness and self-care. Mrs. Clark’s proficiency in holistic anti-aging has set her apart within the industry.

Additionally, Mrs. Clark and her husband own and operate Clark Development Corporation, which encompasses both a construction company and a property management firm. In her role, she manages office operations and oversees daily appointments for both business divisions. Mrs. Clark’s entrepreneurial spirit is evident through her ability to balance multiple ventures while maintaining high standards of service.

Civic engagement has been a consistent theme throughout Mrs. Clark’s life. She has served as an associational mission leader at her church and was previously an associational vacation Bible school leader in Central Oklahoma. For almost two decades, Mrs. Clark volunteered with Little League and soccer organizations while actively supporting her children’s sports activities. Additionally, she has participated in projects, such as Women in Philanthropy, further demonstrating her dedication to empowering others through charitable initiatives. These roles reflect her longstanding commitment to community service and youth development.

Among her most significant achievements, Mrs. Clark cites stepping beyond her comfort zone to publicly share her family’s story as a pivotal moment in her career. Motivated by personal loss, she has transformed grief into advocacy by speaking at events and assemblies to raise awareness about helmet safety. This courageous outreach has enabled Mrs. Clark to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Mrs. Clark’s contributions have been recognized through several awards presented to the 4 ShayJ Foundation for its outstanding work in public safety education. She attributes much of her success to this sense of purpose, which continues to inspire her work with the foundation.

Since launching the 4 ShayJ Foundation, Mrs. Clark has positively influenced hundreds of families by promoting safety education and distributing helmets across the U.S. She remains deeply involved in expanding the reach of the organization nationwide. With ongoing interest from communities across the country and continued media attention, Mrs. Clark is committed to promoting education on helmet safety far beyond California’s borders.
