Noah Wyle gets 2,840th star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

April 10 (UPI) — Noah Wyle received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday.

The ER alum was feted for his contribution to television.

Derek Hough, Steven Weber and Jonathan Frakes were among the stars present at the ceremony, and Wyle’s family was also in attendance.

Wyle portrayed Dr. John Carter in over 250 episodes of the medical drama, which aired in 1994, and is again playing a doctor in The Pitt, which arrived in 2025.

His role as Michael “Robby” Robinavitch earned him an Emmy, Golden Globe, Actor Award, Critics’ Choice Award and Television Critics Association Award during this year’s awards circuit.

“The doctor is in! The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome actor Noah Wyle to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As a beloved talent whose work has resonated with audiences for decades, Noah Wyle has made an enduring mark on television and film,” said Ana Martinez, who produces the Walk of Fame, in a statement.

Wyle’s acting credits also include Leverage: Redemption, The Red Line, The Romanoffs, The Librarians, Falling Skies, A Few Good Men and Donnie Darko.
