Aug. 4 (UPI) — South Korean girl group Aespa has released a new music video.
The K-pop stars shared a video for the song “Switchblade” featuring American rapper Ty Dolla $ign on Tuesday.
The “Switchblade” video shows the members of Aespa take charge as they stage a school election. Ty Dolla $ign delivers his verse while wearing a school uniform in a boxing ring.
“Switchblade” appears on Aespa’s second full-length album, Lemonade, released in May. The album also features the singles “WDA (Whole Different Animal)” featuring G-Dragon and “Lemonade.”
Aespa is promoting its new music with the Synk: Complaexity tour, which kicks off with a pair of shows Friday and Saturday in Seoul and concludes Feb. 2, 2027, in Paris.
The North American leg of the tour begins Sept. 11 in Mexico City and ends Oct. 11 in Vancouver, B.C. Other stops include Belmont Park, N.Y., Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Los Angeles.
Aespa consists of Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning, and made its debut in 2020.
