It’s a strong offering

Halo: Campaign Evolved has been available for pre-order on PS5 for less than 24 hours, and that was more than enough time for its considerable Collector’s Edition to completely sell out.
The physical Collector’s Edition has been an exclusive offering on the Xbox Game Studios Shop, and both the listings in the USA and Europe are already out of stock. You can sign up to receive notifications should they come back into stock, but there’s no guarantee that’ll actually happen.
A £189.99 / $199.99 purchase of the Collector’s Edition got you a 12″ statue of the iconic Master Chief, the game itself on both a physical disc and a digital download voucher, an LED Cortana chip, five days of early access, and more.
Of course, the downside to the instant sellout is Ebay is already flooded with fans selling their pre-orders for up to £516.

In an age where Collector’s Edition are dying out, I think this is a strong content offering for the costly option. Having such an iconic character in statue form — presuming the quaity is good — is something you could display for life, while it’s good to see a publisher offer both a physical and digital version of the game in one.
This is purely the Halo: Combat Evolved campaign from the original Xbox remade for the current generation, along with three entirely new missions. We had a tease of them in the Xbox Games Showcase yesterday, and the overall package is shaping up nicely ahead of a 28th July 2026 launch.

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he’s found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.
