CHOCHILINO Aldi Is Dropping 7 New Ready-Made Meals—Here’s When You Can Get Them %

Getting dinner on the table is about to become even easier, thanks to Aldi’s new ready-made meals.

I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve opened my refrigerator and stared into it hoping a fully-formed meal will jump into my hands. Don’t get me wrong, I love cooking. It’s just that preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day gets a little overwhelming at times.

As we gear up for the cooler months, comfort food is always at the top of my weeknight meal wishlist. Cozy bowls of pasta and mac and cheese sustain me once the seasons change. And that’s where Aldi comes in. The grocery chain is bringing a brand-new product to shelves this winter: ready-made meals that will have cozy dishes on the table fast on nights when you don’t have time to cook.

Here’s everything I know so far about the new meals, including the sizes, prices and when they’ll be available in your local Aldi store.

What are Aldi’s new ready-made meals?

The Aldi ready-made meals are a brand new collection hitting the Aldi refrigerator section. They are not frozen meals. In fact, the label states, “fresh never frozen.”

“We tested hundreds of recipes as we developed this collection, with quality as our top standard from the very beginning,” says Terry Jackson, Head of Food at Kitchen Food Company and ALDI supplier of ready-made meals. “We want every meal to hit the mark on bold flavor and stand out ingredients, so even when time is short, shoppers can still look forward to what’s on the table.”

There are five single-serving and two family-size meals available in the lineup. Each meal contains between 16 and 46 grams of protein per serving, and they heat up in the microwave in just three to four minutes. Here’s the current flavor lineup:

Genuinely, these descriptions are making me hungry. And I only wish that these had been available when I was a kid because I just know my brother and I would have loved coming home from school to eat that Meat Lovers Pizza Bake as one of our TV dinners.

And of course, Aldi will take cost into consideration. The budget-friendly grocery store has made a name for itself with affordable options, and these ready-made meals are no exception. The single-serve meals are all priced under $8, and the family meals are under $15.

When will the Aldi ready-made meals be available?

The meals will begin rolling out in select markets in early October 2026. If you’re an avid Aldi shopper, I would check the refrigerator section of your local store as early as Oct. 1 to see if you are one of the lucky ones to get early access. The ready-made meals won’t hit Aldi stores nationwide until January 2027.
