Nintendo has already released multiple game updates this week, and it’s now rolled out a new software update for its Nintendo Switch App on mobile devices.
This is the first update to arrive since earlier this year in March. It might not be the most exciting patch, but it does come with some handy features. Here’s what Version 3.5.0 includes, according to the patch notes on the App Store.
Nintendo Switch App – Version 3.5.0 (3rd September 2026)
- Added the ability to filter and sort uploaded screenshots and videos.
- Added the ability to delete uploaded screenshots and videos from the server.
- Added the ability to display the data a file was captured on your console instead of the current data when saving a screenshot or video to your device. This can be changed from the app settings menu.
- Other small bug fixes and improvements have also been made.
If you aren’t familiar with the Switch mobile app, it is designed to enhance your online game experience with the Switch and Switch 2. You can use it to check friends’ online status, add friends, view and upload screenshots & videos, and access game-specific services (for series such as Zelda, Animal Crossing and Splatoon).
You can see the previous update for this app in the story below. Once again, this follows a bunch of game updates this week for titles such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
Do you still use this app? Have you tried out this latest update yet? Let us know in the comments.
